We got our court approval this morning! Now our contact in Rwanda will go to the Ministry of Gender and Family to get a travel document for us. That document will allow us to take Kieran out of Rwanda to Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, we will visit the US Consulate. They will issue a visa for Kieran, and then we'll be able to travel back to the states.
So, we are waiting once again. The staff at our agency is busy setting up travel arrangements for us. Early next week, we hope to have actual travel dates. The time of waiting is almost over. Soon we will be in Rwanda meeting our son!
By the way, Kieran turned 19 months old today.
