The nursery is ready

Last night, Mike put the crib together for me. It's wonderful to have it set up. Kieran's room feels complete, and that makes me feel settled. We are very pleased with the design and look of the crib. (Sorry, the blurry pictures don't do it justice.) It can be converted into a toddler bed, which we will probably be doing in a few months!
Of course Piglet, our cat, was quick to notice all the changes in the nursery. She couldn't resist checking out each detail of the crib and it's contents. We can't wait to introduce her to Kieran. I think the two of them will have a blast together.

Kieran's room is a happy and peaceful place. Everywhere I look, I see items that we've been blessed with. The crib, the mattress, the glider rocker, blankets, toys, and clothes have all been given to us by family and friends. There are many people who love our son already, and these gifts are wonderful reminders of that. Thank you to each of you for surrounding us with so much love and support in this journey.
