Fun in the sun

We've been enjoying the summer weather. Recently, we went to the zoo. (It happened to be our 9th anniversary!) We've talked about taking our son to the zoo for so long. It was great to finally make that idea come true. Mike enjoyed pointing out all of the creatures to Kieran. The tropical fish were Kieran's favorite. I'm guessing that's because they moved around a lot and were brightly colored. He wasn't impressed with the elephant, but the meerkats were interesting.



Kieran and I also had fun spending time with his Aunt Kendra & Aunt Katie. He loves to ham it up whenever there's an audience.
He sort of likes the swings, but sometimes he's a bit nervous.
We were trying to capture Kieran's smile on camera. Both of his aunties were doing their best to get him to grin.
Finally, we caught him smiling! He likes going down the slide.
The park we were at also had a small beach for kids to play. Kieran was surprisingly unafriad of the water until it started getting him wet above the knees.
